A fantastic family favourite, there is plenty to delight every member of the clan at this lively resort.

The memorabilia, crazes and catchphrases that defined the 20th Century are everywhere you look - from jukeboxes, bowling pins and 8-track tapes to laptops, mobile phones and VCRs. The giant Rubik's Cube® is something to look out for, as well as huge models of Disney characters from the different eras. Baloo and Mowgli from the Jungle Book (in the 1960s section) are our favourites.

Each building is a larger than life 'time capsule' of pop culture, featuring slogans encouraging you to 'boogie on down' or 'have a nice day' - not exactly hard to do!

In the food hall, the kids can enjoy their favourite food, whilst mum and dad will appreciate a cocktail at the pool bar.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort pays homage to 4 of Disney’s and Disney Pixar's favourite films

Boasting nearly 2,000 rooms altogether, the sea-inspired Little Mermaid section of the hotel sleeps up to four people. In the other three sections, there are 2-Bedroom Family Suites easily sleeping up to six people. All are relevantly themed promising a magical experience for young and old alike. They also boast a great range of amenities with fully-equipped kitchens in the suites an added bonus should the midnight munchies strike!

Outside are four courtyards, each devoted to one of the films with larger than life characters smiling down at you everywhere you look. King Triton is a definite highlight, towering 35 foot into the air and very impressive indeed.

Embrace the legendary cultures of Mexico, Colonial Spain and the American Southwest amidst Mayan architectural flourishes, colourful plazas and Spanish-style hacienda, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Located near to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and built around a shimmering 15-acre Lago Dorado or ‘Lake of Gold’, this superb family resort offers you the chance to feel like an ancient explorer on your Disney holiday.

The resort comprises of three village areas, the Cabanas on the banks of the lake, the Casitas set amongst palm-shaded courtyards or feel the wilderness of the Ranchos, all of which offer rustic surroundings accented in soft, muted shades, and handcrafted wood furniture.

Hard Goods Refurbishment: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be underdoing refurbishment until further notice. This includes the addition of a brand new 15 storey tower and renovation of the guest rooms and the convention centre. The refurbishment of the guest rooms will take place in blocks and every effort will be made to ensure guests are kept away from the work taking place. During this time amenities including dining and merchandise locations, pool, La Vida Health Club with the spa and salon as well as recreation activities such as Beach Volleyball, Iguana Arcade, Movies Under the Stars and more WILL remain AVAILABLE. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village is an African lodge-style resort boasting accommodation which offers self-catering facilities such as kitchenettes/kitchens.

The Kidani Villas are located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The lobby and the Villas of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village extend out and take the curlicue shape of a water buffalo's horns.
