What is your earliest Orlando memory?
My first visit to Orlando was in 2007 with my parents and sister. We were completely blown away by everything that there was to see and do. I could not believe my eyes when I saw Tinkerbell fly from Cinderella’s castle for the first time!
What do you love most about Orlando?
The feeling of being in a “bubble”. You can shut off from reality, and it just feels like you are in a completely different world
What is your most magical Orlando memory?
There are too many to narrow it down to one memory, so I’ll cheat with an experience, which was being a Walt Disney World Cast Member. I was lucky enough to do two Disney Cultural Representative Program contracts (2011 – 2012 and 2014 – 2015), and it is still something that I think and speak about everyday – I even miss wearing the bonnet whilst working in the Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Fun fact! I worked in EPCOT with my current colleagues Laura in 2011 and Ella in 2014!
When is your next Orlando trip and what are you doing?
My next trip to Orlando will be in the next year or two and will involve a split-stay across Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites.
Until then, I’m still experiencing the magic a little closer to home, with visits to Disneyland Paris, and sailing with Disney Cruise Line!
What is your DREAM Orlando Holiday?
Staying in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as it’s in a great location for one of my favorite parks, EPCOT, followed by a Disney Cruise. I’d then spend a couple of nights at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in a Theme Park View Room to relax before flying home!
What do you love most about working at Ever After Holidays?
I get to talk about Disney every day, how lucky am I! I love building relationships with customers. Whether they are enquiring for the first time, or are a repeat customer of mine, it’s like having a chat with friends over the same interests. I’m a big foodie, so sharing dining experiences usually comes into conversation, too! If you haven’t tried the bread service at Sanaa, you must!
What do you love most about booking customers holidays?
The excitement once that countdown is confirmed! I’ve had giggles, cheers, and even happy tears down the phone! Knowing I have helped to create that is an amazing feeling
Finally, tell us something we might not know about you!
I got engaged in Walt Disney World! My boyfriend flew out to visit me on my second Cultural Representative Program back in 2014, and proposed whilst we sailed around the Seven Seas Lagoon on a boat we had hired from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I later found out he had hidden the ring in my backpack, and I had been carrying it around all morning.
