What is your earliest Orlando memory? :

My first trip to Orlando was in 1992 – I was 4 years old and I can remember meeting Cinderella in her castle just before we had lunch in there. I also remember being too short for Splash Mountain! I was absolutely gutted but I did get to go on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which would have been my first Disney coaster!

What do you love most about Orlando :

I love that there is always something to do whatever your interest or mood you are in. I have been visiting Orlando for over 30 years now and what I want to do in my holidays has changed over the years but I can always go back to those nostalgic parts as well as trying new things each trip!

What is your most magical Orlando memory? :

I have SO many but one that really sticks out is on my 18th birthday we were having breakfast in Cinderella Castle and I was waiting at the entrance of the castle, it was super early so the park was pretty quiet that morning and my two cousins who were 4 and 2 at the time were dressed up as princesses and were racing up to the castle with my grandma they were all so excited and could see they were fully in the magic – my family had booked the holiday last minute as my grandad had just passed and it was very special to have them there.

When is your next Orlando trip and what are you doing? :

My next trip is this year – I’m going with my best friend and were doing a split stay Disney & Universal. Staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort ( I LOVE the Skyliner!) and then staying at Universals Endless Summer Resort – Dockside. I’m obsessed with Halloween so it’s going to be a very spooktacular trip going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Halloween Horror Nights.

What is your DREAM Orlando Holiday? :

I would love to stay at a monorail resort one day , have all my family with me and then maybe a few nights at a Universal Resort and maybe a cheeky Disney Cruise Line sailing in the mix too! I would love to visit Castaway Cay one day as all my colleagues say it is the most beautiful place in the world.

What do you love most about working at Ever After Holidays? :

Getting to talk about Disney/Orlando holidays all day, work alongside people who are as passionate about Disney as me, share some amazing stories with our customers and hear about their Disney stories too!

What do you love most about booking customers holidays? :

I absolutely love hearing the excitement from customers once they’ve booked their holiday- whether they’ve been several times or its their first time it’s just so great to start peoples Orlando countdowns as I know what an amazing time they’re going to have and all the memories they will make

Finally, tell us something we might not know about you! :

I worked at Walt Disney World Resort in Epcot back in 2011- I was a cast member at the Rose and Crown Pub! I also have a YouTube channel that I do as a hobby to capture all my theme park trips. Laura Evelyn is my channel name and I will be vlogging my September trip this year so come follow me!
