How long is the training?
Travel isn't an industry where you can complete a training session within an hour and know everything. You will learn all the time, which is what makes it exciting. Your initial set up will include training on how to use the systems, voip telephones, teams, social media, ticketing and Ever After Holidays products and a few other bits and pieces. We aim to do joint training sessions over the course of a week for 2-3 hours a day. Should you wish to sell Tour Operators such as Jet2Holidays, EasyJet etc, you will also be expected to complete their training courses before you can book/sell their products. Additional Tour Operator training can be done as and when you decide to start selling them, so you can grow your business at your own pace. You learn something new every day in travel!

Do I get discounts on my own holidays?
Of course, working in travel you are the first to see all the best offers and packages, giving you first dibbs before anyone else. You will also be able to take advanatage of special travel agent rates for the like of Disneyland Paris, Disney Cruise Line, Universal Orlando & more.

I already have a job does that matter?
As long as it is NOT in the Travel Industry for another company, that is classed as a conflict of interest. You could take on this new self employed role as a side role to your current employment until you have grown your Ever After Holidays franchise to a point where you are in a financial position to make it a full time job! This can be done, you just need to put the time and effort in.

I do not have any Travel Industry experience, does that matter?
Absolutely not, everyone has to start somewhere. We do however highly recommend extensive Disney Destination knowledge, but training can be provided to brush up a little more. We only recommend previous industry experience for Fantasy Level 2, as there is more skill and a lot more risk involved when dynamically packaging.

Do I need a telephone?
We will provide you with a unique virtual telephone number that is connected to our VOIP system. You can use a headset for ease, or link an app to your own personal device for calls. We do highly recommend the headset (provided) however as it means your hands are free to search for holidays!

Why is there a rental fee for a laptop/equipment?
The laptop rental is non negotiable, in order for Ever After Holidays to operate effectively behind the scenes and support you to the best of our ability, you need to be on our systems. There is also an element of safety as we have to adhere to GDPR. Our technology company can also keep your equipment up to date and offer support if you have any issues. There will also be access to office 365, teams and more to make sure you have all the tools for day to day operations.

What does self employed mean?
Being self employed means that you are not being paid a salary from Ever After Holidays, nor are you an employee. You are essentally running your own business as a franchise under Ever After Holidays. You will be responsible for your own self assesments, tax, national inruance contributions etc.

I would like to attend local roadshows and events, do you provide assets for display purposes?
As standard, you will recieve an Ever After Holidays Banner with your name and number. You will also recieve Business cards, leaflets and PDF documents to provide customers prior to travel. You will also be given Ever After Holidays ticket documentation folders to present to your customers so they are ready for travel. Should you need any additional assets we can work with you to design what you need and charge to your montly management fee. This means you are fully prepared to get out there and promote your Dream Maker franchise.

Will I have a social media/website page?
We will build a Facebook platform for you under your name ( example : Sheila - Dream Maker at Ever After Holidays ), provide you with our current stock assets for use with Ever After Holidays core destination offers and create a webpage for you.

Can I choose my own hours?
You choose the hours that you work, our self-employed packages are completely flexible. It's your essentially your business, so the more hours you put in, the more you get out.

Is there a minimum sales value?
There are no sales values put in place for you. What you achieve is simply down to you and how much hard work you put in. You will be paid 60% of the total comission you earn on a booking 8 weeks before the customer travels.

How long will it take to be up and running?
Once we receive your signed consultancy agreement, we can have you up and running in four to six weeks. There will be some training required before you start selling/marketing and if there are any Tour Operators you wish to work with that we have not yet set up with, we will get this sorted for you too!

What kind of support will I receive?
You are supported by travel industry professionals at Ever After Holidays Head office, including the Director Mattie who will train you personally on Disney Destinations should you need some extra knowledge. In addition to this you will be able to communicate with Mattie and the team who are on hand to answer queries and give you advice on how to market your business. You will also be provided a Dream Maker community platform on Teams, where you can interact with other members.

What happens when I go on holiday?
As your Dream Maker franchise is essentially your business, you will need to make sure you let your customers know you are taking some time off. We can offer your support should you wish to completely switch off at a daily charge which will be added to your monthly management fee. If a customer needs assistance when in resort most Tour Operators have their own emergency numbers for use whilst customers are on holiday, which will be given to your customer along with their travel documents. We also have a 24 hour emergency number for customers in resort for any Ever After Holidays product, which will be given to your customers. You may however want to ask your clients to contact you if they encounter any issues to keep rapport.

How much can I earn?
That is entirely up to you, the more you put in the more you get out. The earning potential is unlimited. You could earn more than they ever could working in a branch/call center.

Are there monthly fees?
There is a monthly fee to be a Ever After Holidays Dream Maker depending on your entry level. This covers everything from management fees to use of assets. We can even create bespoke assets for you to use on your social media pages at an addiitonal cost charged to your monthly management fee.
