The Ever After Holidays Difference

What makes us different to other holiday companies out there? Why should you book with us? Are we owned by Hays Travel? Are we ABTA members?

These are questions we get asked now and again and I thought it would be really useful to explain what makes us different and to answer some questions that have been mentioned above!

A Brief History of My Magic Holiday

How did it all start?

It all started out of a passion for Disney and Orlando holidays from Mattie, who has been going on Disney holidays since he was very young.

Then while Mattie was managing the largest independent Travel agent in East Yorkshire a few years ago, he started to get a bit of a name for himself locally as the go to guy for Orlando and Disney.

I’ll start off by saying how incredible "My Magic Holiday"  were with us, from the moment we arrived at the ferry port in Hull they were there to keep us relaxed and nothing was too much trouble, they checked us in whilst we settled onto the coach. We were greeted by our driver who helped us with our bags and loaded them onto the coach for us. We then boarded the ship and begun our holiday! Mattie and his colleagues were professional, friendly and very informative.

Once we arrived into Bruge we headed off the ferry to the coach where Mattie and his colleagues were waiting for us, our bags were already on the coach, so simple! During the journey Mattie told us everything we needed to know about Disney and answered any questions we had regarding Disney, he is like a Google for Disney! They handed out some sweeties and Juice for the children (big and small). Once we arrived at our Hotel The Santa Fe, we checked in and took our luggage to our room. The room was a lovely themed room, Cars! Even the laps were traffic cones! It was immaculate, we had a large TV and two double beds for two adults and a 3 year old, as you can imagine she thought this was INCREDIBLE!

Inventions @ Disneyland Paris

Hidden away inside the Disneyland Hotel in Paris there is a lovely restaurant called ‘Inventions’.

In all the years we have been going to Disneyland Paris (were somewhere in the 50s now on visits) we only discovered this restaurant about 7 years ago.

It’s a little gem, albeit a pricey one! But I thought I would share my thoughts.

Everyone seems to love Disney right? Whether that be the newly acquired franchises of Star Wars or Marvel, everyone is seemingly linked to a product that Disney own in one way or another.

But what I want to talk about, is what opened the door to the world of Disney for me.

What I mean by this Is, what was my first memory of Disney, which had an impact on my life and made me fall in love with the brand on a whole.

We hear a lot from customers questions about how their children may be too young for a trip to Disney. This conversation usually takes place when a child is under 4 years of age, however I thought it would be interesting for you to share my experience with my nephew/neice and their Disney trips.

I wouldn’t want anyone’s children’s age, to put them off a magical experience not just for the children but for all the family.

Having been to Disneyland Paris over 50+ times now (I have seriously lost count) I have never actually gone by Eurostar until recently.

Usually we fly from Doncaster, East Mids, Leeds or Manchester! As my family do not like the self-drive or coach all the way down to Dover from the North! What a little gem I was to discover after 26 years of Disney Paris trips!

Disneyland Paris gets mixed reviews by everyone.

Although it isnt as big as Florida, there is definately some magic in Paris for me.

We first went a few weeks after it opned in 1992. I was 7 at the time.

I was already a bit of a Disney nut, as in 1989 the Little Mermaid movie had touched my heart like nothing ever has before ( I will blog on this).

My mum was a big Disney fan also as was my little sister.

Fantastic service! I’ve spoken to a few travel agents about booking Disneyworld for my family and none can compare to Myah for knowledge, clarity, helpfulness and she actually listened to what we wanted from our holiday and the flights. And it made me feel so at ease that she was able to speak from direct experience of Disneyworld and everything that goes with it. All that AND she beat the other quotes!

I will be recommending Ever After Holidays to anyone I know who is considering a Disney trip. Keep up the good work!

Ste Hall
